To strengthen the Party’s traditional education, inspire patriotism, and allow participants to experience the firm convictions and selfless dedication of the older generation of revolutionaries through film viewing, thereby enhancing their sense of national pride and historical responsibility, on July 26, 2024, the Aiyixing Party Branch organized 10 party members, cadres, Party applicants, and key personnel to go to the cinema to watch the revolutionary film “Departure,” which was released in July.
The film recounts Chairman Mao and Xiao Zisheng’s study and research trips to the First Normal School during website the summer of 1917. Traveling thousands of miles and visiting five counties, they conducted research in farms and workshops, witnessing the myriad aspects of life and the lives of ordinary people. This journey ignited their ambition to “explore the fundamentals” and “change China and the world.”
The film, imbued with philosophical reflections and youthful poetic scenes, vividly showcases the spiritual strength of young Mao Zedong and his generation of idealists, deeply inspiring and motivating viewers. Mao’s patriotism also moved us deeply. This Party Day activity deepened participants’ understanding of the revolutionary spirit, strengthening their ideals and convictions.
